Adjustable components allow quick placement of individual digits into proper 90° line of pull.
Fabricate dynamic finger extension splints in less time.
Blackhawk™ Digital Outrigger Kit is ideal for post radial nerve injuries and post MCP arthroplasty. Contraindicated for fixed bony contractures or unstable fracture conditions.
The preformed outrigger wire frame follows the arch of the hand and can be easily attached to the thermoplastic splint base (not included).
Two outrigger frames are included and can be fitted to any size hand.
The adjuster piece mounts securely on the outrigger frame to hold the extension rod, and can rotate to maintain correct alignment of the extension rod if the joint position needs to be changed.
Each extension rod can be shortened or lengthened to accommodate different fingers and joints.
Rod ends act as line guides so each respective finger loop holds the digit in correct alignment.
